The New Delta Force

I used to play a game calle Delta Force. I played it often and had a great time, but I had never found another game that gives me the same kind of experience, until now. Call of Duty 4 has a similar feel and experience to DF1. It's not the same, but it's similar enough. The most important thing about DF1 was it's playability. It was so much fun! The graphics were aged and crappy, but the game was extremely addictive. Unfortunately, I didn't discover it until the game was well past it's prime. I'm glad this didn't happen with COD4. I was going to wait until the game dropped in price to get it, but good games, really great games, don't drop for a long time. I'm glad I bit the bullet and bought it, it's been loads of fun. I would, however, like to see some bigger maps. I know that it's "modern warfare" and much of it urban, but snipers NEED big maps with lots of foliage. Anyway, I'm looking forward to playing more in the future, my profile isn't quite up-to-snuff, so I will be working on that in the days to come. (Addicting!)

Do yourself a favor and pick yourself up a copy! I regularly play in the Quebec Royal Force TDM server as eroxors.

ATI Comeback

Well, to say I'm excited would be an understatement. ATI's 4xxx series gives me hope for the future of AMD (ATI) and good competition in the gpu market. Even though they haven't captured the high-end segment, their move to 55nm and GDDR5 ahead of NVidia along with their aggressive pricing makes me proud and reminds me of the good 'ole Radeon 8500 days. And what happened after the Radeon 8500? The gaming world witnessed the shock-and-awe of the Radeon 9700 Pro.

A sign of things to come?

First LAN of the Summer

Well, this past weekend Dustin, Josh, and I went to the NWALAN in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I have to admit, I was a bit intimidated/excited to see a full 50 people register on lanaddict. This wasn't as big as JopLAN, but it didn't have 40+ little kids running around either.
